Reports:
Thank you to the people from Fox Chase Hospital for coming to
our meeting and doing follow up blood testing.  How about them bringing their own donuts.  How come their donuts were still there when we left?

A big thank you to all of our ladies for your outstanding support for these past seventeen years.  We appreciate that you are always there.

If you are a Local 14 retiree, we invite you to join our #1 club.  If for some reason you cannot attend our meetings, you can still be a member by sending in your dues of $15.00 per year.  We meet the third Tuesday of each month at the union hall at 10:00 a.m.  Local 14 has the only retirees club in the international.  We are now mailing 308 newsletters to all Local 14 retirees where ever they reside in the United States.  We are a non profit organization and we need your support.  We will continue to keep you informed of all news pertaining to Local 14 and our club.  All members please check and see if your dues are paid.  The wizard is waiting.

Our membership welcomed Bill Yeager, longtime Local 14 member.

How about Ray Boyce back at the refreshment table.  Welcome back Ray!

Our club historian Bill McCarron, will be at our next meeting.  We are looking forward to your return, Bill

Sick List:
Vice President George, was visiting pal Joey Porter at the Woodbury Mews nursing home and Joe called me at home.  What a pleasant surprise.  Thanks for the call.  So good to hear your voice.  We are all thinking of you.

Bill Snyder is resting at home.  His phone number is (215) 679-3662.

Joe Pettit is in a nursing home.  We will pass on to you any information that we get.

Walt Ungerbuehler is recuperating from a hip replacement at home.  If you would like to give him a call, his phone number is (561)388-1540.

We have received information that John Hope has been treated for lung cancer.  When more information is received, we will pass it on.

Goldy's Joke of the Month:
An old man went to the social security office to sign up. After standing in line for a long time, it was finally his turn.  The lady behind the counter asked him for identification.  He realized he had left his wallet at home.  The lady told him that it was alright.  He could just show her his chest hairs and if they were gray, she knew he was old enough for social security.

After everything was done there, he went home and told his wife how his day went.  He told her that he had forgotten his wallet and the lady at the social security office just asked him to pull down the front of his shirt and she could tell he was old enough.

After listening to his story, his wife told him that if he had dropped his pants he probably could have gotten disability too!

I hope to see you at our next meeting on May 20th..
