Dates to Remember:

Our outing to the Phillies ballgame on July 10th is sold out.  A big thank you to chairman Fred Reighn for a job well done.

Captain Lee reported that our flounder fishing trip will be on July 17th on the Carolyn Ann located at 18th street in Barnegat Light.  It will be from 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.  For any questions, please see Lee at our July 15th meeting.

Local 14’s annual picnic will be held on Sunday, September 7th at Clementon Park.  Members please note the change to Sunday.

The Mesothelioma golf fund raiser will be held on September 26th.  All additional information will be in the mail.

Co-chairmen Larry and Al are meeting with the people from Ventura’s restaurant to arrange our Christmas luncheon with the ladies.  They did a super job last year!

We’re waiting for the date and time of Local 14’s retirees Christmas party at the Kelly Ann Ballroom.
 

Reports:

Our club historian, Bill McCarron, gave another of his outstanding reports.  We all look forward to these reports about when our club started and how far we have come.  Thanks Bill, from all of us.

If you are a retiree of local 14, and not a member of our club, we invite you to join us.  We meet on the third Tuesday of every month at 10:00 A.M. at the union hall.  Our dues are $15.00 a year.  If you cannot attend our meetings, you can be a member by sending your dues to Local#14’s Retirees Club.  So come see some old friends and make some new ones.

Our members wish to thank the ladies for all their support over the years.  You were there for us from day one.
