Bud introduced our two new members.  They are Tom Garrison and Ken German.  They were welcomed by all those present.  We now have 71 members.  If you are a local 14 retiree and not a member of our club, we invite you to join us.  We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at the union hall at 10:00 a.m.

 We offer our congratulations to the newly elected officers of Local 14.  Those elected at our February 20th election are:
 

 Our April 16th meeting will be a lunch and golf meeting.  Further information will be given out by Chairman Jim McGee at our next meeting.

2002 Trips and Events

We will be going to the Phillies ballgame on Thursday, July 18th.  It will be a day game starting at 1:05 p.m.  Seats are on the 300 level and are $14.00.

We’re waiting for a schedule for the Baltimore Oriole’s game.  It will be sometime in August and will also be a day game.

We are planning a four-hour boat Cruise around New York with dinner.  It will be sometime in June.  The cost will be $70.00 per person.  If you would like to go on this trip, please sign up at our next meeting, or call Goldy at the above number.

We are planning our Las Vegas trip from September 22, 2002 to September 28th.  We hope you can join us for a week of fun.  We will be staying at the Monte Carlo Hotel.  The cost is $724.00 per person double occupancy.  Please let us know as soon as possible, if you would like to go.

We are looking into hotel and airfare for those of you who are going to the International Convention in Hollywood Florida, August 27th.  We will update the membership at our next meeting.
