June 2002 |
| President
Bud opened our meeting with a moment of silent prayer for our members who
have passed away.
I would like to thank the members for the way they received the donuts. Did you ever see so many white mustaches? AFL-CIO President, Pat Eiding, will be hosting a 3 hour radio show every Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on 900 am. His first guest will be John Walker. It should be a great show so tune in. On June 28th, the International is sending a video company to our Union Hall to make a video that will be shown at the International Convention in Florida. They have requested two of our members to be in this video. They are Robert Redford Rothermel and Clark Gable Goldy. Heaven help us! Business Manager Marty would like to remind you that he still needs old pipe covering memorabilia for the new showcase in the apprentice school. If you have anything of interest, please bring it to our next meeting. A word of advice to Ray Boyce. You’re supposed to be on top of the riding lawn mower. Not under it. We heard that your black and blue marks are in a spot for your eyes only. No show and tell.
2002 Trips and Events
Don't forget to check "Dates to Remember" for dates and details on these and other events.
I am asked to remind all dues paying retirees club members that when you sign up for a trip or outing, a ten dollar deposit for each person is required.
GOD BLESS AMERICA
