July 2002

President Bud opened our meeting with a moment of silent prayer for the passing of Paul Schultz, a club member and long time friend of many.

We had forty-five members, family and friends on our boat trip around New York.  The weather was great and the dinner rounded off a perfect day.  Our committee would like to thank all of those who participated for making the trip so outstanding.

We would like to remind all retiree club members that due to renovations being done at the Union Office and apprentice school, there will be no meeting in the month of July.  Our next meeting will be on August 13th at the Union Hall.  Please try to attend.

Five Local 14 members have just retired and we invite them to become members of our #1 retiree club.

Business Manager Marty would like to remind you to bring any old pipe covering memorabilia that you may have to the Union Office for the new show case in the apprentice school.
