| In the
absence of President Bud, Vice President Jim McGee opened our meeting with
a moment of silence for the passing of Jack White, a long time member of
Local 14. He will be sadly missed.
We received a thank you letter from Pat Eiding for the gold bracelet he received from the retirees club. It was given to him in appreciation for helping start our club and making it what it is today. We also received a letter from Walter Ungerbuehler who resides in Sebastian, Florida. He told us how he looks forward to our newsletter each month. He's looking forward to seeing everyone at Local 14's One-Hundredth Anniversary banquet. Nice to hear from you Walt. Good to see pal Joey Porter at our January meeting. Looking good Joe. Past President Bill Rothermel is looking great after having surgery on his elbow. Yes Bill, we liked your hat! Our club historian, Ed Chew, will be giving another of his outstanding reports at our February meeting. This one is going to be super, so don't miss out. Try to attend. Three Little Bakers: Information will be in next newsletter. Dues are due for 2003. Please see the Wizard.
2003 Trips and
Events
A motion was made that all people going on our bus trips are requested to be at the bus twenty minutes before departure time. We will be going over all
the trips and outings for 2003 at our February meeting. If you have
any questions, your travel chairman will be glad to answer them.
All trips are based in 40 people. Tickets are sold on a first come
basis. If you are interested in any of these trips, please submit
your name and number of people going.
Don't forget to check "Dates to Remember" for dates and details on these and other events.
GOD BLESS AMERICA
