August 2003

President Bud opened our July meeting with a moment of silence for the men and women in the armed forces and for our deceased members.

The membership welcomed our quest, Suzanne Starker who is Vice President of Health Advocate.  This organization is here to help you anytime you and your family need to use healthcare services.  They will assist you dealing with claims denials, healthcare bills and payment arrangements.  They will help find top medical institutions and providers throughout the country.  They will help locate the best and most convenient service to meet your healthcare needs.  Health Advocate is designed to give you personalized attention, expert help and support for your healthcare and insurance concerns.  After a question and answer session, we thanked Mrs. Starker for coming to our meeting.

At our next meeting, our long time member Bill Butler, will be presenting a “show and tell” of his paintings, wood carvings arrow heads and glass collectibles.  If you missed his last show, you had better make this one. It’s outstanding.

A big thank you to Ray Boyce for looking after the donut table in Charles Davis absence.  How come there were leftovers?
