December 2003

As we approach the holiday season, I would like to wish you and your loved ones
Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy, New Year.

A motion was made and passed that all of the officers of the retirees club remain in office for the year 2004.

The membership would like to send a special thank you to the club historian, Ed Chew, for all the time and effort he puts into his enjoyable reports at each meeting.  You bring back so many memories.

Did you notice Charles Davis and Ray Boyce overseeing the refreshment table?  How come the only thing left was the prune Danish?

To the ladies in the union office and the ladies in the funds office, thank you for all your help with the newsletter.  Thanks for twelve great years.  You made it so much easier.

Fishing trip report
The sea was flat, the weather was perfect, but no fish.  When we arrived back at the dock, a man asked Lee “Did you get the blues?”  Lee said “We got the blues so bad, we can’t get rid of them.
