January 2004
On December 9th, we held our Christmas luncheon at the Rosebrier Restaurant.  Our ladies and all the officers of Local 14 were in attendance.  Financial secretary, Dick Reeves opened the meeting by giving the benediction and requesting a moment of silence for our passed members and also the return of our troops to their loved ones.

Our number one member and president of the A.F.L. C.I.O., Pat Eiding, was called upon to give us a report on our club president, Bud Eiding.  Pat informed us that Bud was feeling some discomfort and will be under going some tests.  He has now entered St Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem, Pa. where these tests are taking place.  When we receive more information, we will keep you advised.  Your prayers are requested.

Everyone enjoyed our trip to the Sight and Sound theatre in Lancaster.  The living waters and The Miracle of Christmas put us all in the holiday spirit.  The dinner at the Strasburg Inn was super.  Our bus driver said that the bus was a lot heavier coming home.

The members of the retirees club would like to thank the officers and members of Local 14 for the Christmas party.  Once again, it was outstanding. Thanks for such a great day.

 Long time member, Joseph Costellli has passed away.  He will be sadly missed.
