May 2004

Vice-President, Jim McGee opened our golf and lunch meeting at Copperfields Restaurant with a moment of silence for our sick members and for the safe return of our men and women in the armed forces over seas.  The food was enjoyed by all and the fellowship and golf made for a great day.

Our sunshine club chairman, Bill Cammann, reported that all members on the sick list have received cards and flowers.  He made a visit to Jim Lavin who is in the nursing home after having a stroke.  If you know of any member who is ill, please inform Bill Cammann or any club member.

Our club historian, Ed Chew, will be giving another one of his exceptional reports on the history of Local 14 and its members at our next meeting.  Try not to miss this one.
