February 2005

EARLY QUIT NEWSLETTER...
Vice President George Griggs opened our meeting with a moment of silence for the victims of the Tsunami and their loved ones.

Our first order of business was to welcome our two new members, Mike Butler and Bill Cornett.  The were well received.

Jim McKeogh of the McKeogh Company, actuary to the funds, will speak to us about our retirement program at our February 2, 2005 meeting.  He will discuss pension, annuity and retiree medical.  Please try to attend.

If you are not a member of our retirees club, we invite you to join us.  We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at the union hall at 10:00 A.M.  If for some reason you cannot attend our meetings, you can still become a member by mailing your $10.00 yearly dues check to Local 14 retirees club at the union hall.  If you need transportation to our meetings, we will arrange to have someone pick you up.
