August 2005

EARLY QUIT NEWSLETTER...
President Jim McGee opened our meeting with a moment of silence for all our deceased members and for all those on our sick list.

Jim introduced our newest member, Jack Pfrommer Sr. long time member of Local 14.  Welcome on board Jack.  Guess we better bump up the donut order.

Jim Cunningham requested time from President Jim to inform our members about the one hundredth anniversary banquet in 2009.  He told us about the plans and the people who are going to be included in our celebration.  Jim will be asking some of our members to help put a movie together about their many years as members of Local 14.  This movie will be shown at the banquet.  Everyone thanked Jim for coming to our meeting and keeping us informed about this great affair.

We would like to thank Lee for putting our fishing trip together.  A good time was had by all.  Lee is now putting our striper trip together.  We will be fishing out of Cape May in October.  He will have an update report at our next meeting.

Our Christmas luncheon Committee will be looking into a new location since the Rosebrier Restaurant has closed.  Further information will be given at our next meeting.  All members with their 2005 dues paid will attend free of charge.
