Chairman Larry Durham reported that our Christmas luncheon is ready for December 6th at Ventura’s restaurant located on Route 73 in Voorhees, New Jersey.  Starting time is 12:00 noon.  All members who had their 2005 dues paid by our October meeting may attend free of charge.  The cost for members without their dues paid is $25.00.  There is also a charge of $25.00 for any ladies who will be attending.  All members are requested to bring a door prize with a value of at least $15.00.

Local 14 will hold its annual retirees Christmas party on Sunday, December 11th, at the Kelly Ann Ballroom in Gloucester, New Jersey.  The time will be from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M.

Just a reminder that Local 14 election of officers for 2006 will be held on Wednesday, December 7th from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Polish Home, 9150 Academy Road.

As we come to the end of our fourteenth year, I would like to offer a special thank you to the ladies in the funds office and the union office for all the help you have given to me.  You made it so much easier all around.  Thanks to all of you for helping mail out 285 newsletters each month to all retirees of Local 14.

To the members and their ladies, thank you for all your support.  You made it all worthwhile.  Again this year, we have attended twelve trips and outings.  At our January meeting we will be planning our trips and outings for the year 2006.  If you have a trip you think the members would be interested in, we would like to hear from you.

If you are a Local 14 retiree, and not a member of our #1 retirees club, we invite you to join us.  We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the union hall at 10:00 A.M.  Our yearly dues are $14.00.  If for some reason you can’t attend our meetings, you can still be a member by sending your $15.00 to Local 14 Retirees Club at the union hall.
