Bill Rothermel opened our meeting with a moment of silence for the safe
return of our men and women serving overseas.

Trips and Events
Just a reminder that our April 18th meeting will be a lunch and golf meeting at the Indian Spring Country Club located at 115 S. Elmwood Road in Marlton, N.J. Phone number is 856-596-1106. The cost of lunch is $15.00. For members playing golf, cart and golf is $29.00. Our meeting will start at 10:30 A.M. Our outing to the Phillies ballgame will be on August 17th. This will be a day game. Price of ticket is $20.00. For tickets, see Chairman Fred Reighn at our April meeting. The date for Baltimore Harbor and ballgame will be announced when we receive the baseball schedule. Tickets are free of charge to members and their families. The price of the bus is $25.00. The wizard reported that we will be going on the Circle Line Cruise around New York on June 28th. We will have dinner on the way home at Mastori’s Restaurant. Price for this trip including dinner is $90.00. Chairman Jim O’Driscoll reported that our trip to Washington D.C. will be on April 20th. We will have a guided tour of the Capitol and yes the cherry blossoms will be in bloom. Other tours will be available at a cost of approximately $20.00. We will be stopping for dinner on the way home at Jim’s Seafood Restaurant. Cost of the meal will be determined by what you order. Cost of the bus is $30.00. Bus will leave union hall at 7:00 A.M. Chairman Bill Rothermel has put together our cruise to Bermuda leaving from the Philadelphia Navy Yard on September 30th and returning on October 7th. Eight days and seven nights aboard the Royal Caribbean Empress of the Seas. The price for an inside cabin starts at $759.00. There is an additional $71.28 in taxes. If you would like to join us, please send your $250.00 deposit to Local 14 Retirees Club at the Union Hall. Make your check out to Boscov’s travel center. You will need a passport for this trip. Parking at the Navy yard is $10.00 per day. Final balance is due by June 27th.
We would like to thank the medical staff from the Fox Chase Cancer Hospital for giving their time to come to our meeting and test our members. I’m happy to report that James Milliken has left the Kennedy Health Center and is resting at home. How about Charles Davis and Ray Boyce back at the refreshment table? That pair will beat any full house. Joe Fern is looking good. That salt air does wonders. It was great to see Ed Conlin visiting from Las Vegas. We’ll look you up Ed when we come to visit our money on our next trip to Vegas. What
