| President
Bill Rothermel opened our meeting with a moment of silence for the safe
return of our men and women serving overseas.
A travel flag and stand was donated to our retirees club from the Chew family in memory of Ed. He will be remembered by all. Phillies ballgame Chairman, Fred Reighn, reported that there are some tickets available for the day game on August 17th. The price for tickets is $20.00. If you would like to join us, call Fred for tickets at (856) 728-4140 or he will have tickets at our next meeting. President
Bill reported on our cruise to Bermuda. He reminded all members going
that the final payment is due no later than July 2nd.
Remember, you will need a passport. All passengers must be ready to board the ship by 1:00 P.M. The ship will be leaving at 3:00 P.M. Don’t miss the boat. Parking is $10.00 per day. Our fishing club chairman, Lee is in the process of putting two trips together. One summer and one fall striper trip. Lee, we thank you for your time in putting these trips together. I hop they have a pool. As I reported at our June meeting, we have not received any information from Jim Good about tickets for the Baltimore Orioles ballgame and harbor trip. Our club historian Bill McCarron announced that he will give his first report at out next meeting. Mr. Las Vegas, Rip Connolly, reported that the plane coming back from Vegas was much lighter than when it left Philadelphia. Did you see how lonesome Charles Davis was at the refreshment table without Ray? Dates
