EARLY QUIT NEWSLETTER...
Vice President George Griggs, opened our meeting with a moment of silence for the safe return of our men and women serving  overseas and the passing of Robert Valentine.

Reports:
The minutes of our previous meeting and the financial secretary report, were both accepted. 

Hats off to captain Lee for a great fishing trip. The weather was perfect, the water was calm and many fish were caught.  Ask Bob who  won the pool.  Well done Captain!

A good time was had by all on our recent outing to the Phillies game.  Thanks to chairman Fred Reighn.  Sorry they lost.

The Wizzard gave a report on the Credit Union’s 40th anniversary celebration on Saturday, November 10th.  All credit union members will receive more information by mail.

Our club historian, Bill McCarran, gave another outstanding report.  Our members thank him for the time and effort he puts into making these reports so enjoyable.

Winners of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association raffle were Al Grimmie second prize and Goldy third prize.  We received a letter of thanks from Mr. John J. McElroy for our support.

I want to remind you that the international convention will start on August 5th in Las Vegas.

The Mesothelioma golf fund raiser will be held on September 28th.
If help is needed, the members will be informed at our August meeting.
